Wheels on fire

The country’s gone bike crazy, ever since all those Brits won all those medals at a tiny event called the ‘Olympics’. And London’s Design Museum – ever a place that reflects the zeitgeist – is tapping into this patriotic zeal with an evening dedicated to all things bike. The night, Bike V Design, takes place on the 7th September 2012 from 6.30pm, and there’ll be talks, exhibitions and films all geared towards bicycles. Speakers include Shaun Moulton, grandson of the bike pioneer Alex Moulton, an exhibition of bespoke bikes on a double-decker bus, and freestyle BMX action from Jason Forde and Matti Hemmings.
